Reflexology in Bath

Reflexology in BathReflexology is the ancient eastern healing tradition based on the principle that all parts of the body are connected by energy pathways, which ends in the hands, feet and head.

A reflexology treatment uses pressure massage, on specific areas of the feet, to stimulate healing and balance in the corresponding organs, glands and structures. This releases areas of tension and congestion build-up, to help energy to flow freely throughout your body.

Reflexology is very relaxing and provides an excellent way to release stress creating balance; balance and harmony enable us to attain and maintain health and well-being.

The method has been used for several thousands of years and is known to have been practised in a similar manner by the Chinese and the Egyptians.

More recently, Reflexology was described in the form in which it is now known by the late Eunice Ingham, an American lady, who based her method of treatment on work called ‘Zone Therapy’ which had been described some years earlier in the 1920’s by an American, Dr. William Fitzgerald.

Reflexology does not claim to be a ‘cure-all’ but is known to help relaxation and to improve the mood of the client. It aids sleep, helps to relieve tension and improves a sense of well-being.

Quite simply everything that happens in the body has a reflexion in the feet and everything that happens in the feet is relayed to the person.
